As many think that practicing to kick “harder” will help, they often forget that kicking strength is correlated to leg strength. So the stronger that your legs are, the stronger your kicks will be.
Implementing a weight lifting program
In order to fully reap the benefits of a strength training program, you must learn the basic movements. By learning how to squat with light weights, you will be teaching your body how to properly do the movement. Once you are able to perfect the movement, you will then start adding weight. As you get stronger every week, you will ultimately start to see your kicking strength get just as strong.
Stretch everyday
Before any of your lifting workouts, you must do a lot of stretching to keep your muscles warm and ready to move. You will be putting your body through intense stress and you will have to make sure that your body is ready for the heavy weights. Once you are stronger and more flexible, you will surely see yourself kicking that ball so much farther and stronger.
